You’re a Star Crochet Headband

The Star stitch! What a stitch, I love it. If you saw my post on the One Size Headband, you would know I love making headbands. So, as soon as I mastered this stitch, it was a no-brainer that I would make a headband using it.star stitch crochet headband

You’re a Star headband is just what it is. The texture is oh! so pretty and the fit gives a very chic look to your outfit. And you don’t have to be in the limelight to be a star. Just by being you, you are a star.

To make it easy for you to decide what fiber to work with, I made this using cotton and acrylic yarns. My observation is that the stitch looks more defined in cotton and feels sturdier, but feels flat when I rub my palm across it because the stitches come out a little loose. The acrylic is good as well, the stitch seems to ‘pop’ because they are tighter, though not as sturdy perhaps because the acrylic I used is soft. Whichever fiber you decide to use, you will still come out with a beautifully textured headband. I hope you really enjoy making this like I did.
